Classical Guitar Festival
& Competition honouring
Roland Dyens 2014

Welcome to the fifth Calcutta International Classical Guitar Festival & Competition honouring Roland Dyens 2014!

With each successful year, the Festival becomes bigger and better. The Festival has evolved a lot ever since its inception in 2010. This year will be a more participant driven Festival, where participants will get the opportunity of a lifetime to watch performances of Maestros in the likes of Marcin Dylla, Roland Dyens, Cavatina Duo, Johannes Möller, Denis Azabagic, Amadeus Guitar Duo, Dale Kavanagh, Daniel Marques, Simon Cheong. Never before has India seen such great artists in one Festival together. A spectacular celebration of music and learning and high quality competition is what we expect this year’s Festival to be. It will be an intense 5 days of 5 Public Masterclasses, 8 Concerts, more than 200 scheduled Master classes and high end competition with $13,000 worth prize money. This Festival promises to be a bonanza for both the artists and participants.
